All Nepal Security Association (ANSA), an umbrella organization of the security guards, started demonstration against the incident in the bank.
According to police, security guards interfered with the agitating employees of the bank when the latter were engaging in a heated verbal altercation with the management.
The agitating employees then engaged in a clash with the security guards.
According to Superintendent of Police Nawa Raj Silwal, chief of Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu, it is still unclear what made the employees have differences with bank management.
“A police team has been sent to the incident to avoid any untoward situation,” he said.
