Temporary police dispatched to Sarlahi and Sindhuli

JANAKPUR, Oct 21: The District Police Office of Dhanusha on Monday dispatched 1,533 temporary police personnel to Sarlahi and Sindhuli district for the security of the upcoming Constitution Assembly election.



The District Police Office posted 68 of the temporary police personnel in Sindhuli while the rest have been deployed in Salahi district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Santosh Singh Rathaur. [break]



Recruits from one district are not deployed in the same district as it could influence the electoral process.



DSP Rathaur also informed that the temporary police force selected by the Sarlahi and Mahottari District Police Offices will be deployed in Dhanusha.

He further informed that there are 86 women among the newly recruited temporary police personnel for the polls slated for November 19.



The recruits will be provided with a two-week long training by the police office in the district of the deployment before posting them to the polling stations.
