This time, visitors can purchase entry tickets to the event online as well. In order to purchase the tickets online, customers will have to open an account with e-Sewa or any of the banks.
Speaking at a media briefing organized in the capital on Wednesday, general secretary of CAN Narayan Neupane said visitors purchasing entry tickets online will get a 20 percent discount. After the payment, a barcode will be provided, which will work as the entry pass for the event. Entry fee to the event is Rs 100 while for students, it is Rs 50 only.
The largest ICT event of the country will have 39 stalls in Branding Exhibition Centre, 144 in Truss, 3 in open space, and 13 food stalls.
Majority of exhibitors belong to firms dealing in hardware and maintenance, power solution, mobile, accessories, ISPs, printing services, telecommunication firms and software solution providers.
CAN is also organizing ICT Conference 2012 on the sidelines of the Info-Tech. The conference will be held on Jan 29-30 with ´Internet is for everyone´ as the theme. The conference will focus on five different topics, which include e-enabled services and applications, Internet security, Internet content and cyber law and regulation.
