Teaser of upcoming Nepali film ‘Kalio Barsha’ was released amidst a press conference organized on Monday. The film shows different hurdles that a member of middle class family has to face in their daily life.
Laxu Gautam is directing this film. It features various well known artists of K-Town including Okesh Paneru, Anupa Khadka, Surendra Budha, Rabin Bhujel, Rasmi Bhatta and Paban Bhattarai. Paneru himself has penned the film’s script which shows the real stories of typical Nepali society.

Speaking at the press conference, producer Paneru credited all the team members to have contributed in successfully making the film. Similarly, director Gautam stated that this is her first film. She elaborated, “This is my first film and I am optimistic that the audience will like it.” Actor Okesh Paneru said, “We have given our heart and soul to make this film.” Further explaining about his role in the film he added, “Playing the character that I portrayed was more difficult than I had imagined. It was quite hard for me to get into the character.”
The film is jointly produced by Yogendra Prasad Paneru, Ram Khadka and Shyam Khadkaand is scheduled to hit theaters on April 26.
