KATHMANDU, Nov 18: An eight-member team of the International Boxing Federation (AIBA) which is visiting Nepal at the invitation of the Nepal Boxing Association, met President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.


An eight-member delegation including the AIBA President Umar Kremlev, who arrived in Nepal on Wednesday morning, met President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas. During the meeting, the team discussed the state of boxing in the world and in Nepal.

Likewise, President Bhandari said that Nepali players has started introducing Nepal to the world through sports and thanked the AIBA for its support in Nepal's boxing game. During the meeting, the visiting delegation presented a token of love to the President.


An eight-member AIBA team including Kremlev arrived in Nepal for two-day visit. The team was welcomed by Nepal Boxing Association President Ram Awale and various officials.
