Teachers withdraw stir in Chitwan

CHITWAN, June 29: Community schools in Chitwan have come into operation from Tuesday after an understanding reached to implement the agreement struck between Relief Teachers Struggle Committee and the government last year.



The schools closed in Chitwan and other districts have been opened after an agreement reached to release the salary and allowance increased from the current fiscal year by mid-July.



Meanwhile, appropriate decisions should be made regarding teachers on private source, kids teachers (female) and employees working in community schools, said various teachers’ organizations.
