Teachers padlock DEOs

KATHMANDU, Dec 3: As part of the first phase of their agitation, temporary teachers on Thursday padlocked District Education Offices (DEOs) in all 75 districts demanding that the government make them permanent through internal exams.



The Coordination Committee of Temporary Teachers´ Movement had announced a nationwide agitation on November 29. They have announced that they would padlock the Ministry of Education (MoE) for three hours on December 6.
