Tarun Dal enforces Chitwan banda

CHITWAN, Aug 8: Demanding the release of its cadre, Nepal Congress-affiliated district chapter of Nepal Tarun Dal enforced district banda on Thursday.



On Tuesday, Tarun Dal Bharatpur Metropolitan Committee Vice Chairman Pramish Rai and NC affiliated Nepal Student Union’s district member Yam Bahadur Karki was arrested over allegedly thrashing an Indian national who was driving a vehicle with Indian number plate as he refused to provide a lift.[break]



Following the arrest, police had filed a public offense case against them.



Due to banda, business, academic institutions, and transportation has been shut down in the district.



Meanwhile, Police have also arrested the eight Tarun Dal cadres from Pulchwok area this morning.
