KATHMANDU, June 16: Tara Air has collected revenue of Rs 672 million within the first nine months of the current fiscal year (FY) 2023/24.
Tara Air’s operating profit margin (OPM) has reached 28 percent. The company’s profit margin has increased due to lower aviation fuel prices and higher income from the US Dollar.
Tara Air operates three Twin Otters, serving the STOL route.
According to data from ICRA Rating Agency Limited, a sister company of Yeti Airlines, Nepal, Tara Air collected a total of Rs 1 billion in the fiscal year 2022/23. Yeti Airlines provides air service on trunk routes.
The company achieved a turnover of Rs 150 million in the fiscal year 2021/22 and Rs 470 million in 2020/21.
