KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Tanjakot Rural Municipality of Humal district has been sealed off for five days.
The Rural Municipality (RM) office decided to shut all its border points for five days after some people were found to have been diagnosed with COVID-19, who came to celebrate Dashain festival in their villages.

The RM made the decision to this effect in view of curbing COVID-19 spread. As many as nine individuals tested positive for COVID-19 in Humla.
Humal was among the districts with zero COVID-19 cases in the country.
Meanwhile, the District Hospital of Humla has sent 32 swab samples of people who were in close contact with infected ones to Surkhet for COVID-19 tests.
The test results are awaited.
