T20I series : Nepal to field first against the Netherlands

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Nepal, having won the toss, chose to bowl first against the Netherlands in the second match of the tri-nations T20I series.

The match was scheduled to commence at 11:30 AM local time at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

In the inaugural match of the series held on Tuesday, Nepal faced a setback, suffering a 20-run defeat against Namibia.

Meanwhile, today’s match is the Netherlands’ first encounter.

In terms of ICC T20 rankings among the participating nations, Namibia currently holds the top position, securing the 11th spot. The Netherlands closely follows at 15th place, with Nepal occupying the 16th spot in the rankings.
