Syangja District Court remains shut Monday

KATHMANDU: The Syangja District Court remains closed today (Monday) to mourn the death of its Judge Lila Prasad Gautam who died of lever ailment on Sunday in Kathmandu, according to Supreme Court Co-Spokesperson Hemanta Rawal.



An emergency meeting of the Full Court, the apex policy-making body of the judiciary headed by Chief Justice Kedar Prasad Giri, took the decision to this effect on Monday morning.



In the meantime, the Supreme Court Justices observed one minute silence to mourn the death of Judge Gautam during the Full Court meeting, said Rawal.
