KATHMANDU, March 27: The number of people infected by Swine Flu (A H1N1) virus has not increased in the country, according to the Shukraraj Tropical Disease Control Division.

Though 100 to 150 patients visit different hospitals for tests of suspected infection, they are not found serious and only five patients are admitted to Shukraraj Tropical hospital.Talking to RSS, flu specialist at the hospital Dr Sher Bahadur Pun said that the number of the patients is stable and is expected to gradually decrease in the coming days. He said that he could not give the exact number of infected persons as they were under treatment scattered in different hospitals.

Asked whether the number of Swine Flu cases would go up due to the change in weather, Dr Pun added that new cases might have come from India and there was no possibility of the infection increasing mainly due to the change in weather per se.
