MUMBAI, Oct 10: By mixing two fanatically followed passions in India–Cricket and movies, Neeraj Pandey has delivered his endeavour M.S.Dhoni–The Untold Story–to successful monetary results.

Even as Dhoni is busy minting runs on the cricket ground (Mahi Mar Raha Hai!) by wielding his willow, Sushant Singh Rajput has scored a successful ton at the box office by scoring a century. Yes the film has made Rs 100 crores in total that is by adding his total tally of Hindi, Tamil and English version.

Naturally, the film has become one of the biggest grossers in the recent times.

Kudos to director Neeraj Pandey, who in the past, has given cinematic treats in the form of A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby. Pandey braved the risk of crafting a biopic on the legendary cricketer who is still active in the field. Pandey is walking on a tightrope here with MS Dhoni. Pandey tells a very interesting story in an entertaining way!

The film has garnered mostly positive reviews and that has helped Dhoni soar beyond an unimaginable mark as far as the moolah it has generated is concerned. It was only natural that the critics are highly impressed with the performance delivered by Sushant Singh Rajput as he became the Dhoni on screen with his mannerisms, his speech and the way he operates on the field while wielding his wilow. 

It would be interesting to note that the film was opened on a massive scale with beyond 5000 screens allotted to it.The film is is crafted in Rs 84 crore  So, even after the the spectacular box office returns, the MS Dhoni continues to has earn moolah as good marketing strategies were put in place. Out of these figures Rs 15 crores were already recovered through satellite rights of the film.
