KATHMANDU, Nov 6: The second event of the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2017-18, Surya Nepal Central Open, is set to begin at Gokarna Golf Club from Monday.
The event will be played over 72 holes from November 6 through 9.

There will be a cut applied after 2 rounds (36 holes). Only top 21 pros and ties will make their journey to the final 36 holes along with top six amateurs and other amateurs who survive the professional cut.
A total of 32 professional golfers will take part in the event that has total prize money of Rs 630,000.
The champion will take home Rs 115,000 where as the runner-up will be rewarded with Rs 74,000. The golfer coming to the third position will get Rs 53,000. Top 21 places and ties will earn prize money.
Altogether 10 amateur golfers will battle with professionals in this tournament.
