Surita Sah joins TMDP

KATHMANDU: Former state minister for information and communications Surita Sah joined the Mahantha Thakur- led Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) on Saturday amidst function in Janakpur.



Speaking to Republica, party Vice Chairman Brikhesh Chandra Lal said that Surita Sah and former lawmaker Salma Khatun Mikrani joined his party.



Lal further said that his party has reached an understanding on political adjustment with the Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar-led Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Democratic (MPRF-D). “We will support each other´s candidates during the November 19 Constituent Assembly elections,” said Lal.
