KATHMANDU, June 9: The Supreme Court (SC) has decided to seek the help of amicus curiae to decide the case related to the dissolution of parliament. 


The apex court has decided to invite two senior advocates each from Nepal Bar Association and Supreme Court Bar Association for the amicus curiae. The apex court had sought the help of amicus curiae even to decide the case of parliament dissolution made by Prime Minister KP on December 20, 2020.

The Constitutional Bench headed by Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana has also asked the amicus curiae, advocates pleading against the dissolution of parliament and government lawyers to submit the written texts of their pleadings by June 24.
