Sudanese national arrested with 20 kg of gold ore from TIA

KATHMANDU, DEC 24: A team of Tribhuvan International Airport Customs Office arrested a Sudanese national along with 20 kg of gold ore on Friday. 


Spokesperson at the Customs Office, Yamraj Pandey, said that the 27-year-old Sudanese national had arrived at TIA from Fly Dubai at 3:00 pm. The Custom Office seized the gold ore in the course of security checkings after seeing his suspicious activities, shared Pandey.

Further investigation into the case is underway. The gold ore was brought in 10 packets. The Sudanese national arrived in Nepal for the first time.
