KATHMANDU, April 28:  Students of Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus have protested demanding fulfillment of eight different demands.

The students protested with eight demands citing dissatisfaction with the BA first year examination results, which they claim are marred by errors, including an investigation into the resignation of a professor.

Harka Bohora, a BA second year student, said, “The results of BA first year are published at the time of the second year examination. The published results are also dissatisfactory and muddled. Despite taking the internal assessment and attending the college daily, the results are not good. The campus administration has turned a deaf ear when asked for clarification.”

He said that he spoke to the campus administration the day after the results were published, but there was no response.

Similarly, another student, Sangam Rai, said that the campus administration is more indulged in creating problems than solving the problems of the students.

He said, "We have talked to the administration, but the issue has not been solved yet. On the contrary, it forced the concerned sir (Loknath) to resign. He wrote a seven page long letter and submitted his resignation. We have demanded an investigation into the mistakes mentioned in the same letter.”

He said that they have demanded an investigation into the resignation letter written by Professor Koirala and an investigation into the internal evaluation.
