Students demand resumption of exams

DHARAN, May 4: Students in Dharan took out a rally on Tuesday demanding that the +2 exams suspended due to the indefinite shutdown by the Maoists be resumed.



They demanded that the exams be started immediately by making adequate security arrangements. [break]



Police prevented the demonstrating students from marching toward Bhanuchowk to prevent possible clash with Maoist supporters, who were present at Bhanuchowk to make the shutdown a success.



After being stopped, the students organized a protest gathering as Chataraline.
