Nepal Students´ Union, and All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union –Revolutionary(ANNISU-R), close to Nepali Congress, and Unified CPN (Maoist), respectively, padlocked the Office of the Campus Chief, Nar Prasad Thapa and the Free Students Union Election Office.[break]
The All Nepal National Free Students´ Union (ANNFSU) close to CPN (UML) had padlocked the offices on Friday demanding that the false cases filed against ANNFSU central member, Shyamsundar Basnet, should be withdrawn, admission of fake students scrapped and the amount of money taken away from the ANNFSU returned.
With the padlocking by the three major student organizations, the FSU election scheduled to be held on June 6 at the campus has been pushed to uncertainty.
