MAHOTTARI, Nov 26: A student of Baasbitti Secondary School in Ramgopalpur Municipality-1 of Mahottari has died after falling from the stairs while trying to access the internet by climbing on it. The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Mahato, 18, of Balwa Municipality-1, according to the police.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prakash Bista said that he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. Seriously injured Mahato was first taken to Kavya Hospital in Janakpur for treatment.
But as health deteriorated further, Mahato was rushed to Phool Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital in Karjanha, Siraha for further treatment. “He died at the same hospital last night,” police said.
