Organizing a Press Conference at the party’s Parliamentary Party Office at Singha Durbar, the party’s leader  Krishna Bahadur Mahara appealed to PM Oli to resign.

“As per the agreement, our party will lead the government first. Then the leadership of the government will be transferred to Nepali Congress after some time,” said Mahara.

When asked  whether CPN (Maoist Center) and Nepali Congress have the required majority in Parliament to form the new government, Mahara said "we have more than the required majority." However, he did not reveal the details about it.
