NEW DELHI, Oct 23: The Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Sachin Pilot, will be seeing off Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai at Indira Gandhi International Airport  on Sunday.

Bhattarai is returning to Nepal at 4 pm Indian time.[break]

Pilot, who is one of the youngest members of Parliament, represents the Ajmer constituency of Rajasthan and is a member of the Indian National Congress. He is the son of Congress(I) leader, Late Rajesh Pilot.

The decision to send Pilot to see off the PM is seen as a move to correct the lapse upon Bhattarai´s arrival when he was received by Chief of Protocol from India´s Ministry of External Affairs Ruchira Khamboj, Indian ambassador to Nepal Jayant Prasad and joint-secretary (North) Akhilesh Mishra of the MEA.

Earlier, both the then prime ministers of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal were received by state ministers respectively. Given the status, Girija Prasad Koirala was received by Indian PM Manmohan Singh.
