State minister Gurung urges indigenous nationalities to utilize amendment bill

ITAHARI, Dec 10: Minister of State for Health, Taraman Gurung, has stressed that the indigenous nationalities expressing dissatisfaction on some issues of the new constitution should instead utilize the constitution amendment bill.

ITAHARI, Dec 10: Minister of State for Health, Taraman Gurung, has stressed that the indigenous nationalities expressing dissatisfaction on some issues of the new constitution should instead utilize the constitution amendment bill. 



State Minister Gurung said so at an interaction organized at Dharan by Nepal Indigenous Nationalities Association, Sunsari, on Saturday. 



He stressed that the indigenous nationalities should take maximum initiative to have amendment made on some issues they have some reservation on by holding extensive discussion as the incumbent government has already registered the constitution amendment bill in the Legislature-Parliament. 



Saying the new constitution has tried to incorporate all sectors, Minister Gurung said it could be revised and amended as per the time. 



He also expressed commitment to provide maximum support to the issue put forth by Dharan folks for making Dharan as the capital of Province No 1. RSS
