KATHMANDU, Feb 25: The Standing Committee meeting of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli-led faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been postponed until further notice.
The meeting was originally scheduled to continue on Thursday as well.
According to Surya Thapa, press advisor of the PM, the meeting has been suspended for a few days.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Standing Committee had decided to welcome the Supreme Court’s verdict to reinstate the dissolved parliament and summon a House session within the date stipulated by the apex court.
The meeting had also decided to call the faction’s Central Committee and Parliamentary Committee meetings.
