KATHMANDU, March 11: The Social Security Fund (SSF) has collected Rs 30.53 billion under the contribution- based social security scheme.


A total of 17,709 companies and organizations have registered themselves with the SSF. Out of them, 397,928 employees have been contributing to the scheme.

According to the SSF, the largest numbers of contributors are from Bagmati Province. A total of 305,993 staff from 12,232 organizations operating in the province have been associated with the fund.


Likewise, 38,736 employees from Koshi Province, 21,222 staff from Madhesh Province, 15,170 contributors from Gandaki Province, 14,067 contributors from Lumbini Province , 1,216 contributors from Karnali Province and 1,524 contributors from Sudurpaschim Province have been associated with the social security scheme.
