KANCHANPUR, Jan 7: India's Seema Surakshya Bal (Border Security Force) has removed a temporary post it had set up in the no-man's land on the Nepal-India border near Belauri Municipality-10 in the district.

The SSB removed its temporary post that it had set up between border pillar number 34 and 35 at the no-man's land following protest by the Nepali side.

The locals of Belauri had on Wednesday informed the Armed Police Force (APF) about the SSB's temporary post in the no-man's land on the border.

The APF, through coordination with the SSB high officials, had the SSB remove the temporary post.

APF No 35 Battalion Headquarters Shaileshwori Kanchanpur's Superintendent Birendra Bahadur Aier said they talked to the SSB officers and had the SSB post removed soon after they got the information on the SSB setting up the temporary post. He said the SSB acknowledged their mistake and removed the post from the no-man's land.
