Challengers, batting first, put up 122 runs in 20 overs losing six wickets. In reply, Warriors met the target in 18.2 overs losing four wickets.
Likewise, Blasters batted first and put up 134 runs in 20 overs losing six wickets and restricted Royal Chargers to 115/8.
Cricket grounds to be upgraded
KATHMANDU, April 21: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, signed a 10-year agreement on Monday to upgrade the cricket grounds of the campus.
A press release issued by CAN on Wednesday stated that the grounds will be used only for playing cricket henceforth.
CAN President Binay Raj Pandey and campus chief Dr Shree Durga Prasad Sangraula signed the agreement. CAN has been using the grounds to host various national and international tournaments.
Shrestha duo shares lead in chess
KATHMANDU, April 21: Rajendra Shrestha and Keshav Shrestha jointly lead the standing on Wednesday with seven points each after the completion of the ninth round of the ongoing NCC Cup All Nepal National Chess Tournament being held in Dolakha.
Continuing with his unbeaten record, Rajendra defeated Ganesh Awale in the eighth round and shared points with Balaram Napit playing a draw in the ninth round. Likewise, Keshav defeated Madan Krishna Kayastha and Ganesh Awale.
Napit, Manish Hamal and Niraj Niraula are jointly in second position with 6.5 points apiece. Similarly, Ganesh Awale, Madan Krishna Kayastha , Chudamani and Lawa Kumar Shrestha have added six points apiece.
