Prime have also made it through to the semifinals after Xavier´s exit in the three-team group. Now Prime will play against Xavier on Monday to decide the group topper.
Sushma Thapa topscored with 20 points as NASA lead all quarters from the beginning 7-4, 14-11, 12-10, 11-9 to wrap up their victory.
In the Ninth Men´s National Basketball, Xavier made it through to the quarterfinal at the Dasharath Stadium covered hall. Xavier edged past Saipal 64-51 to find a place in the last eight as the runners-up from Group A. Title holders Golden Gate have already topped the group.
Buddha Prakash win
KATHMANDU, July 25: Buddha Prakash School defeated Gurukul Public School 2-0 in tie-breaker on Sunday in the Coca Cola Cup Inter-school Girl´s National Football Tournament underway at the Chyasal Ground.
The match was decided in a tie-breaker after the regulation time ended in a 1-1 stalemate. Aruna Lama and Kusum Lama scored for Buddha Prakash in the tie-breaker while four players failed to convert their spot-kicks for Gurukul.
Earlier, Sushmita Mainali had put Buddha Prakash ahead in the 25th minute but Yunisha Shahi of Gurukul levelled the scoring in the 54th minute.
Earlier, in the first match of the day, Saint Xavier´s (Godavari) enjoyed a walkover from EPS.
