KATHMANDU, July 4: NASA, Pentagon, Kirtipur Club and Xavier International won their respective matches on Sunday in the Valley-wide Men´s Open Basketball Tournament organized by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy.
NASA defeated Prime 67-48 as Ajay Manandhar scored 23 points for the winners. Pentagon, riding on Amir Ghale´s 19 points, thrashed Bhanimandal Club 65-25. Likewise, Kirtipur beat Revolver Group 44-36 while Xavier International edged past Whitehouse 56-32.
Inter Airlines TT tournament
KATHMANDU, July 4: Inter Airlines Table Tennis Tournament, organized by Nepal Airlines Corporation to mark its 52nd anniversary, kicked off on Sunday.
Forty players from 14 international airlines companies operating in Nepal are participating in the tournament. The tournament will conclude on Thursday.
