The photographs collection entitled ”Home” recited the sweet hidden love story of a Bhutanese refugee couple which lands up in New York, the city that never sleeps. The couple´s families have been resettled in the States by International Rescue Committee (IRC) under refugee resettlement program. Shrestha adds,” I had thought about doing a story on Bhutanese refugees but never thought it would turn out to be this interesting. “

On his 1996 visit to the UK, Rauniar clicked the photographs after being motivated by the growing differences between youths abroad and back at home in terms of practising their rituals.
“Being South Asians”, the photographs collection by Rauniar concentrates on cities like Manchester and London.” South Asians in UK seem more concerned about their culture and religion,” Rauniar said.
The situation projected by photographs clicked by Rauniar more than a decade ago was still apt with the recently clicked photos of Shrestha.
The visual narrative led to discussion with the two photographers on the issues of status of Bhutanese refugees in the US and their resettlement and the growing interest of South Asians in the UK about their own tradition.

The event concluded with Astha Tamang-Maskey, singing two songs from her new album, Sabai Thikai Huncha. The 19-year old who has been living in Canada for the past seven years added she could relate to both of the presentations.
She brought the topic of multi-culture into limelight and shared how people purport that multi-culture is required but create boundaries and isolate themselves from other cultures.
