Sony launches Android TV

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepa Hima Trade Link Pvt Ltd, the authorized country distributor of Sony Electronics, has unveiled the latest line up of BRAVIA 4K and Full HD series in the Nepali market.



Issuing a press release, the company said the new BRAVIA W800C Series and X Series models will support Google's latest Android TV operating system, making it easyier to stream video, function as a gaming device and provide enhanced features like Google Play, Google Cast and Voice Search.

"With the advanced 4K X-Reality PRO technology, these television sets will analyze and upscale to provide the best image quality, regardless of the image source," the press release said.


The X9000C series features a new ultra-thin floating style, making it the World's thinnest 4K Ultra HD TV with edge-to-edge viewing. The new X, W and R series BRAVIA from Sony are available in sizes ranging from 43 to 65 inches and will be available from September onwards, according to the release.
