Sony launches 3D Bravia, home theater system

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Nepal Hima Trade Link (NHTL), the authorized distributor of Sony products in Nepal, has introduced 3D solutions by Sony in the Nepali market.



The entry of Sony´s 3D Bravia and 3D Blu-ray home theatre system has now enabled Nepali consumers to enjoy high quality 3D entertainment at home.[break]



Nepal Hima has launched 3D contents ranging from movies, documentaries, photos and games. The company says its 3D television, 3D music player and 3D camera will ensure complete fun to consumers.



“As the leader in 3D innovation, Sony delivers unrivaled 3D entertainment by bringing consumers´ favorite movies and games directly into their living rooms,” Ramesh Bista, operations director of Nepal Hima, said during the launch of the 3D series on Thursday.



The new Sony 3D Bravia TV is priced Rs 350,000 for 40-inch model and Rs 475,000 for the 46-inch model. Similarly, the consumers can buy Sony 3D music player for Rs 20,000. While, the prices of 3D Sony NX5 and NX3 camera range from Rs 65,000 to Rs 100,000.



Stating that Nepali customers are responding positively to Sony products, Murari Gautam, deputy director-sales and marketing of Sony, expressed hopes that Sony will do well in the 3D technology segment as well.
