A minor altercation occurred at the home on Monday morning culminated the tragedy when son Ramchandra Kunwar (32) hit on the head of mother with spade, according to District Police Office, Gorkha. [break]
She had sustained serious injuries to her head and police detained her son at District Police Office, Gorkha.
The dead body has been kept at Gorkha hospital for post-mortem.
Ramchandra is the only son of the deceased, informed locals. The deceased has been afflicted from paralysis and bed-tied for the past four years.
