KAPILVASTU, March 26 : After a minor dispute, a local youth killed his own father in Buddha Bhoomi Municipality-1 of Kapilbastu district on Saturday night.
Jiban KC, 23, hit his 55-year-old father with a log and killed him in fit of anger.

Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi of Area Police Office, Gorusinghe said that Narayan KC died on the spot after Jiban, who got angry after a simple dispute with his father, hit him with a log.
Locals say that the wives of both the father and the son have left the house because of the constant quarrels at home. Even before the incident, there was a daily fight between father and son. After learning about the incident, the police reached the scene and arrested Jiban.
Police Inspector Shahi said that the police are investigating the incident further.
