KATHMANDU, Nov 23: CPN-UML leader Raghubir Mahaseth has said that some leaders of the party have announced their candidacies out of whims. 

Mahaseth claimed that the leaders who have announced their candidacies will withdraw their decision by the time of election. 

“I believe that the leaders who have announced their candidacies will withdraw their decisions before the elections. The same representatives who requested them to announce their candidacies will ask them to withdraw their decisions,” Mahaseth said, in an exchange with media personnel after the standing committee meeting of CPN-UML. 

He also clarified that there is no doubt that the election of the party’s leadership will be made without a consensus.
