Solar panels worth millions of rupees installed in Sindhuli

SINDHULI, Oct 11: Solar panels have been installed in some villages previously deprived of national transmission lines.
The solar panels worth over millions of rupees were installed in some wards of Fikkal and Harihar rural municipalities.
According to Energy and Environment Officer Sandip Upadhyaya of Fikkal rural municipality, solar panels worth Rs 12 million were installed in some wards of the rural municipality.
A solar panel of 10 watt was installed in the house of earthquake victims said Upadhyaya. Two bulbs can be lit from it.
