KATHMANDU, Aug 20: A meeting of the Socialist Front comprising four political parties will be taking place late this evening. According to CPN (Unified Socialist) Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada, the meeting has been scheduled for 6:00PM today.
The meeting to take place at the Aloknagar-based central office of the Unified Socialist is expected to discuss the government affairs, contemporary political issues and so on.
United Socialist Front merges with CPN (Unified Socialist)
The Front will be meeting for the second time since its establishment around three months ago. Earlier, the meeting was postponed due to the passing of Sita Dahal, CPN (Maoist Center) leader and the spouse of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
The Front comprises CPN (Maoist Center), Janata Samajbadi Party, CPN (Unified Socialist) and the Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand.
