Social Entrepreneurship Bazar features home decor to apparels

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Around 20 social entrepreneurs from different parts of the country showcased their products, services and innovative ideas on Friday, the second day of the three-day Social Entrepreneurship Bazar that kicked off on Thursday.



The products and services showcased on the day ranged from home décor to apparels and accessories, handicrafts and agro-based ventures, among others, said ChangeFusion Nepal, the organizer of the event, issuing a press statement on Friday. [break]



The event is being held at Baber Mahal Revisited and would conclude on Saturday.



According to ChangeFusion, the Bazar marks the start of the chain of events under the Surya Nepal Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award 2012 and targets to bring the social entrepreneurs from across Nepal and their potential investors, customers, advisors and mentors in one platform.



"The major objective of the event is to showcase Nepali social entrepreneurs from different sectors and regions," reads the statement.



According to ChangeFusion Nepal, it has received 84 applications from social entrepreneurs across the country. Going by its arrangement, the bazaar this year has been featuring around 20 exhibitors each day comprising of social entrepreneurs and support organizations.



ChangeFusion Nepal has been organizing Surya Nepal Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award in association with National Business Initiative and Surya Nepal.
