KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Upaul Majumdar, the General Manager of Soaltee Crowne Plaza Kathmandu, hosted an 'Our Table' event along with Alexandre Barre, wine ambassador for Pernod Ricard Winemakers on Saturday.

"It was a spectacular evening of culinary delights wherein guests indulged in great conversations and fine wines at a gourmet dinner paired with best wines from the world's most awarded winery," a statement issued by Soaltee Crowne Plaza Kathmandu said.

The special menu offered a symphony of delectable dishes prepared by culinary experts adding their unique twists to pamper the palate, according to the statement.

"The starters included Rice Vermicelli with lemongrass Galanjal marinated baby chicken strips for non vegetarians and Thai Raw Papaya Salad with crusted peanut and sweet chili sauce.

This was paired with Jacob Creek Reserve Barossa Riesling because of its bright and zesty lemon citrus fruit flavor and floral freshness with a hint of chalkiness," it added.
