Snowfall has occurred in the settlements in the high-altitude region also, according to the locals. Dallek in Khar VDC which is close to Api Municipality also received heavy snowfall.
The District Police Office, Darchula stated that the villages as Khandeshwari, Ghusa, Rapla, Sunsera, Dhaulakot, Iarkot and Sitola in the northern highlands of the district received snowfall.
Increase in cold conditions following the snowfall has affected the normal life of the people in the upland areas in the district, it is stated. RSS
