PAANCHTHAR, March 18: Paanchthar's normal life was given an unusual weather-triggered brake after snow and hail storm on Friday.
The hail storm and snowfall after a long time in the district has caused considerable damages to the seasonal crops as potatoes and other vegetables including maize, according to farmers.
The snowfall and hail storm hit the district's Memeng, Prangbung, Pauwasartap, Ranitaar in the hilly areas and Sarangdanda, Mauwa among other villages in the lower lands, said Purna Jagebu of Thangnam village. RSS
