Sushant Singh, 16, had gone to sleep after hearing that he had passed his School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams in first division on Friday evening. He was not found in his room the next morning.
Sushant´s father Gunjan went to the police for help after his son didn´t return till Saturday evening. “We found his door open in the morning and thought he might have gone out to meet his friends,” father Gunjan said. “But he is nowhere to be found,” he added.
Chief of Saptari Police Sharad Kumar Oli said Sushant may have been kidnapped. He said search for the missing boy is on. Nobody has claimed responsibility for the abduction.
