On Tuesday alone, 245 examinees were pushed out of the exam centre for violating the examination rules and defying the instructions of the exam superintendents and security personnel. As many as 123 students were expelled from Saptari, 118 from Mohattari, and two each from Dhanusha and Rautahat, Exam Controller Bishnu Bahadur Dware said.
Around 300 students and 30 invigilators had faced action till Monday, which shows that some 40 invigilators too have been expelled for aiding and abetting cheating during the exams in various exam centers.
In Kalikot district, 19 fake examinees were briefly detained on Tuesday during the social studies subject exam.

However, the OCE claims that the examinations have been going on smoothly compared to the past few years.
"There have been very few instances of confrontation between guardians and security personnel around exam center so far," claimed Dware.
Last year in Dhanusha, two examinees were injured when security personnel fired shots into the air to control the mob. The situation had gone out of control after a mob comprising mostly of the guardians demanded that their wards be allowed to cheat in Science exam.
Most of the irregularities have been reported from eight sensitive districts of central Tarai, namely, Sarlahi, Mohattari, Dhanusha, Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Siraha and Saptari.
Meanwhile, the error in question paper during the science subject exam was minor and the problem was resolved at the soonest, Dware said. "All exam centers were notified to correct the error within half an hour after the exam began."
