HETAUDA, Oct 9: As many as 65 passengers were injured, 25 seriously, following a head-on collision involving two passenger buses at Ramantar in Makawanpur along the Hetauda-Narayangadh road section at around 4 am today.
The crash occurred place when a bus (Na 5 Kha 4096) coming to Sarlahi from Kathmandu struck another bus (Na 4 Kha 4343) en route to Nepalgunj from Biratnagar, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
The critically wounded passengers were rushed to the Old Medical Hospital in Chitwan while nineteen others were receiving treatment at the local primary health post.
Some 21 passengers sustaining minor injuries in the incident have been sent home following after primary treatment shared Superintendent of Police (SP) Meera Chaudhary. RSS
