KATHMANDU, April 3: Cars, scooters and motorcycles got burnt when a fire broke out at Mahindra's servicing center at Kupondole in Lalitpur.
The fire that broke out at 4:40 this morning was brought under control by the police and others at 5:15 am.
Chief of Lalitpur Police Range said that all the vehicles at Mahindra's servicing center were damaged in the fire. Police believe that the fire may have started due to an electrical short circuit.
“Six vehicles have been burnt. Three motorcycles, two scooters and a Maruti van have been damaged," SSP Siddhi Bikram Shah said, adding, "The details of the damage are being assessed."
Police said that further investigation is underway in connection with the incident.
