Six more COVID-19 patients recover

BIRATNAGAR, May 5: Six COVID-19 patients who are undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Koshi Hospital have recovered from the disease.

BIRATNAGAR, May 5: Six COVID-19 patients who are undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Koshi Hospital have recovered from the disease. 


"The swab samples of six of the 16 patients at the hospital reported negative in two consecutive tests. We are preparing to discharge them," said Dr Dipak Sigdel.

He further said, “We have been consulting the authorities concerned regarding their discharge and management as all of the recovered patients are Indian nationals.” 


It is also learnt that they will be discharged on Wednesday morning. 


With six more patients winning COVID-19, the number of patients who have recovered has reached 22. Of the 82 confirmed cases so far, Nepal has 60 active cases now while no death has been reported yet.
