The deceased have been identified as Sanjaya Bahadur Syangtan, 62, Phul Maya Sangtan, 28, son-in-laws Ramesh, 5, Arjun, 5, and Anil Sangtan,2 and daughter-in-law Sabina Sangtan.
Of the victims, one died on the way to Kathmandu-based Megha Hospital and two others breathed their last in the course of treatment.
According to District Police Office Dhading, the members were taken ill after consuming bread made up of the wheat flour laced with poison.
It is learnt that they had washed the wheat laced with poison before taking it to a grinding mill and had the bread made from it.
