Addressing a mass meeting in Muksar of Siraha on Friday, Dahal said that Siraha would get either the executive president or prime minister from its land for the first time if Dahal won the upcoming CA election.
UCPN (Maoist) Dilip Sah said that Chairman Dahal will stay in Siraha for three days and would hold election rallies in 16 VDCs.
Meanwhile, a general strike called by the agitating CPN-Maoist had no effect in the district today. The poll opposing party had announced the strike to disrupt the programmes of Dahal.
Likewise, an unidentified gang planted bombs in Muksar and Jamdaha VDCs to obstruct the election campaign of Dahal.
A Nepal Army team disposed the bombs this morning.
